 Safe, Clean, Efficient Fluorescent Tube Containment and Disposal

Preparation. The water chamber is pressurised so that a fine mist is created in the crushing chamber to minimise dust and vapour emissions.

Execution. The gas tight valve is opened allowing the tube to drop into the crushing chamber. The handle is turned and the tube is crushed and drops into the holding drum. The gas tight valve is then closed and the water valve turned off. Ready for the next tube....

The Sumo crusher comprises of a hand driven drum top crushing unit. There are no power issues and a minimum number of moving parts means the unit is virtually maintenance free. Up to 300 or 400 light tubes can be held in a single drum (depending on the size of tubes being crushed).
